The Diary of Sara Belle - Part 7

Sara had nothing to do till 4 a.m, nothing but think. She drowned deeper and deeper in thought,

"Where could he possibly take me at 4 a.m?"

She thought to herself. She finally decided to give the thinking a rest, and sign on to MSN Messenger. There she found Abdullah online.

Sara: Hey 3abood!
Abdullah: I have to go now.
Sara: Um, ok :S

"What's wrong with Abdullah?" Sara thought to herself.

She was completely oblivious to the fact that hanging out with Saeed was hurting him. One thing Sara did know was that she was tired of mysteries, so she decided to watch a movie. Throughout the entire movie, a million questions flew by her mind, when all of a sudden, she realized it was 3:30 a.m.

"Oh shit! I don't have much time, I should go get ready!" She panicked.

She threw on her favorite jeans, and an old shirt, nothing too flashy, after all, it was 4:00 am. She pulled her hair back into a pony tail, and before she knew it, 'INCOMING CALL from Saeed' was flashing on her BB screen.

Saeed: Hey sunshine.
Sara: Hehe, Hey
Saeed: Ready?
Sara: Yup!
Saeed: Meet me outside?
Sara: On my way.

Sara tip-toed down the stairs, the place was dark, all she could hear was her father's snoring. Then all of a sudden, something felt different. But Sara couldn't exactly put her finger on it. What was it?

"Uh Oh" Sara whispered.

The snoring had stopped. Sara panicked and ran down the stairs, bumping into the wall at every corner. At the final step, she tripped, practically did a summersault, and hit the ground. She sat there for a moment, stunned, then got up and gracefully walked away. As though nothing had happened.

She tip-toed out of the front door, and into Saeed's car.

"You ready?" Said saeed, smiling.

Sara sighed, "Phew, ready as I'll ever be! So where are you taking me??"

Saeed looked at her and smiled, "I told you, it's a surprise!"

Sara rolled her eyes, "You and your surprises!" she complained. "I hope it isn't anything like your last surprise." She reminded him.

"Haha, no worries! I'm telling you, you will be surprised! Now close your eyes!"

Sara and Saeed chatted all the way, but Sara couldn't stop pondering,

"Where is he taking me" She kept thinking all the way.

They fell silent for a moment, when out of the blue, Saeed startled her, yelling,

"Close your eyes!!"

Sara did as he said, then Saeed pulled over. He stepped out of the car, and helped her out. Just as he did before, grabbing her from behind, covering her eyes. This time, he grabbed on harder, he pulled her closer, and they walked slower. Sara felt a slight breeze,

"Where are we?" She whispered.

She could hear the smile in Saeed's voice when he said,

"You'll see."

Sara could hear waves crash, and she could taste the saltiness in the air.

"The beach" She whispered,

"Aw, you ruined the surprise." Saeed was disappointed,

yet he still hadn't let go of her, in fact, he held her tighter. Finally, he let go, and turned to face her.

"That's only part of the surprise." He smiled.

"There's more?" Sara said, shocked.

Saeed smiled his perfect smile, that never failed to make Sara weak in the knees. He grabbed her hand and said,

"Come on."

They ran along the shore, hand in hand, just as they got close to the waves crashing on the shore, they stopped. Saeed sat down, and pulled Sara down, on his lap. He grabbed ahold of her, and held her gently. Sara's heart skipped a beat. Silence took over, but not awkward silence, passionate silence.

"So what's the surprise?" Sara finally spoke up.

Saeed smiled, and sat Sara down next to him. He put his arm around her waist, and pointed to the ocean. That's when the sun slowly started to rise.

"I-it's.. B-beautiful." Sara was amazed.

He was so romantic!

"Not as beautiful as you." He hugged her tighter.

As they watched the sunrise, Saeed whispered,

'I love you' into Sara's ear. Sara blushed, but didn't reply.

They laughed the morning away, before they knew it, it was 6:30 a.m. When all of a sudden, Sara shrieks

"OH CRAP!!"

What could have possibly happened?
