The Diary of Sara Belle - Part 13

Sara dropped her phone, with her mouth wide open, and kept her screams bottled up. "I love my mom!!!" She thought to herself.
She and Jewels exchanged a smile, and ran off straight to the bedroom.

"Oh my God!" was the only thing they managed to say for a few minutes. Jewels hugged Sara, "We're going to have the best girls' night ever!"
Sara grinned so hard her cheeks hurt!

After the whole pep rally scene was over, Sara suddenly stopped. "So what now?"
Jawaher paused, "I have no idea"

They looked at each other and burst out laughing. "Let's watch a movie" Jawaher suggested, as she ran toward a box sitting in the corner of her bedroom. Of course, the box was bright pink, with Hello Kitty's face on the cover. Sara rolled her eyes, then smiled. "What's that?" She asked.
Jewels did not answer, instead, she responded with, "Welcome to the wonderful world of chick flicks!"
She opened the box that had almost a hundred movies in it.
"Every chick flick I ever fell in love with!" She added.

Sara made a disgusted face, chick flicks weren't exactly her thing. She was more of a horror person. But hey, if it meant being normal, she was up for it!
"Where should we start first?" She tried to put on an eager face.
Jewels thought for a moment, then laid out 5 DVDs on the carpet.
"You choose."
Sara eyed the DVDs laying on the floor, which included 50 First Dates, Mona Lisa Smile, Lovewrecked, You've got mail, and Gone With The Wind.
Sara winced, she had never heard of half of them, but she did know one thing, she definitely did not want to watch something that would remind her of her own drama, and the titles weren't exactly helpful.
"Nope, I can't do this.." She thought.

"I've got a better idea." Sara said, with a sneaky smile on her face.

She grabbed Jewels's laptop and typed in "The Uninvited"
"What's that?" Jewels asked.
"You'll see" Sara laughed mischievously.

Jewels screamed throughout the entire movie, and Sara couldn't help but laugh at her.
Eventually, they both got really into the movie, and watched silently.

When abruptly, there was a loud knock on the door.
Both girls let out a shriek.

"What is going on in here?" Worried, Jewels's mother rushed into the room.
As soon as the girls saw her face, they looked at one another and laughed hysterically.

"Well..?!" Jewels's mother was still waiting for an explanation.
The girls calmed down long enough to explain.

Her mother sighed then let out a giggle herself,
"Don't stay up too long" She reminded them.

"I think that's enough horror movies for.. Oh I don't know.. EVER!!" Jewels said, then sighed with relief.
Sara giggled, then reached for her backpack.

"Oh great what now?" Jewels's eyes widened.

"What happens at every great sleep over." Sara had never been to an actual sleepover before.. Well not with girls, anyway. She always used to sleepover at Abdullah's when they were younger.

Sara tossed her cell phone over to Jawaher.

"Prank calls" They said in unison.

"YES!" Exclaimed Jewels as she high-fived Sara.

"Who should we prank first?" Jewels said with a sly look on her face.
Sara did not respond, instead, she grabbed her cell phone and dialled Mariam's number.

Jewels laughed hysterically. "Put it on speaker!!" She demanded, excitedly.
"Shh!" Sara silenced her.

"Hello?" Mariam had picked up the phone.
"Halla walla" Sara said, in a boy's voice. She really did sound like a guy.
"Ahlain" Mariam giggled. Her voice went from zombie to girl in a heartbeat. "Mnu?" She said in the girliest voice ever.
Sara and Jewels's eyes widened as they tried so hard not to laugh.
"Mo3jaab" Sara said.
Mariam giggled hysterically. "Awaneh"
Sara couldn't take it anymore. She hung up and burst out laughing.
The girls high-fived. "I so wish I could've recorded that!" Jewels said, still laughing.

Their hysteric laughing was ceased at the sound of Sara's cell phone ringing.
Jewels's eyes widened, as she read 'Incoming Call from Abdullah'
